Teri & Ryan ~ Engaged

"It's not the journey or the destination. It's who you are traveling with."

 For Teri and Ryan it all began as friendship, formed from having mutual friends.  And though there was a spark between the two the timing was never ideal.  When Teri made the decision to move to Winnipeg from Regina, she called in a favor to her friend Ryan to have him drive her car from Regina to Winnipeg while she drove the U-haul, assuming he was making a trip over to see family he had there anyway.  Unbeknownst to her, Ryan flew out to Regina for the sole purpose of bringing her to Winnipeg.

During the two weeks that followed, while Teri finished work in Regina, they continued to keep in contact and set up their official first date when Teri got back to Winnipeg.

"When did I know it was love?" says Teri. "It was my birthday and he bought me a new lens but it wasn't the lens that made me tear up. It was when he said 'I don't want anything to stop you from achieving your dreams." 

Teri is the talent behind Teri Hofford Photography and produces incredibly creative and beautiful art not only for publication but for families and couples alike.  On November 28th Teri, Ryan, my husband, and I are embarking on an amazing, 7 day adventure to the US Virgin Islands where Teri and Ryan will say "I Do!".  I am excited beyond words to be the person to document this trip for these two. 

2 photographers, 7 days, 1 boat. Should be have bets on how many photos we end up with? ;)
